Nynehead Court

Nynehead Court, formerly the Manor House, is a Grade II listed 17th century building within whose curtilage is the parish church of All Saints. It is situated towards the western end of Nynehead, about a mile and a half north of Wellington. Associated with Nynehead Court are a number of other historically interesting features among which are Ice House and Three Arch Bridge. Nynehead Court is now a privately owned residential care home with their own website at Nynehead Care

Nynehead Court

The earliest house dated back to 737 AD. The most prominent owners were Fluri (1068 - 1318), de Wyke (1318-1599) and Sanford (1599 - 1940). There is more about the history of Nynehead Court in the History section.
